چکیده

Introduction: Deferoxamine mesylate increases hypoxia inducible factor-1 alpha transactivation by preventing iron-catalyzed reactive oxygen stress, so it can be used to improve diabetic ulcer healing. This study was undertaken develop and physicochemical properties of topical deferoxamine-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles.
Method: Solid nanoparticles were prepared using cold homogenization technique full factorial design evaluate the effect surfactant type amount lipid. In-vitro characterization formulations including particle size distribution, thermal behavior Differential Scanning Calorimetry, entrapment efficiency, release profile carried out.
Results: The results showed an acceptable range (2.88–174 nm), a narrow average 60% for drug efficiency which is significant hydrophilic drug. from initial burst followed slow prolonged manner. Calorimetry also confirmed obtained loading evaluations. best formulation had high level lowest rate contained compritol oleic acid in 8% total formula, as well tween 80 lecithin mixture surfactants.
Conclusions: demonstrated deferoxamine could loaded deliver topically.

Preparation, characterization and evaluation of moisturizing and UV protecting effects of topical solid lipid nanoparticles

Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) were recently proposed as carriers for various pharmaceutical and cosmetic actives. These lipid nanoparticles can act as moisturizers and physical sunscreens on their own. Therefore, the full potential of these carriers has yet to be determined. The present study was aimed to determine and compare moisturizing and UV-protecting effects of different solid lipid na...

Preparation and characterization of solid lipid nanoparticles loaded with doxorubicin.

Solid lipid nanoparticles (SLN) loaded with doxorubicin were prepared by solvent emulsification-diffusion method. Glyceryl caprate (Capmul)MCM C10) was used as lipid core, and curdlan as the shell material. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was used to dissolve both lipid and drug. Polyethylene glycol 660 hydroxystearate (Solutol)HS15) was employed as surfactant. Major formulation parameters were optim...

Preparation, characterization, and optimization of primaquine-loaded solid lipid nanoparticles

Primaquine (PQ) is one of the most widely used antimalarial drugs and is the only available drug that combats the relapsing form of malaria. PQ use in higher doses is limited by severe tissue toxicity including hematological- and gastrointestinal-related side effects. Nanoformulation of drugs in an appropriate drug carrier system has been extensively studied and shown to have the potential to i...
